Job Description


Patient Safety & Risk Management

  • Initiating and working with institution in analyzing, evaluating and identifying trend/practices related to quality, patient safety and risk management within QRM and across Institutions.
  • Work closely with institution to develop and promote improvement/risk management strategies to ensure a high standard and seamless provision of quality service, productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Review, critically analyse, adapt and improve the implementation of a clinical practice guidelines/ care bundles/ best practices in company setting.
  • As a Faculty of IHQ is responsible to develop, train, facilitate and review course content for Quality or Patient Safety (e.g Driver Diagram) related training.
Performance Improvement
  • Developing quality improvement initiatives and transformation work.
  • Support leadership to develop and adapt quality frameworks, such as quality and safety framework, spread and scale, etc to strength and adance the culture in quality improvement.
  • Collaboratively with respective cluster-level collaborative or project director to establish secretariat functions/ project management activities and drive towards meeting the desired outcomes
  • Review quality projects and provide consultation/coaching to frontline project team/leaders/quality secretariat.
  • Prepare relevant quality improvement reports with proposal/recommendation for discussion at the Quality Directors meeting and Clinical Board.
Data Analytic
  • Working collaboratively with various healthcare institutions to design Quality DataMart and manage varied datasets for review, analysis and implementing strategies
  • Co-lead the development of cluster-level quality database by identification, integration and analysis of data or indicators that will impact quality and safety outcomes of the care system
  • Provide required analytic and visualization to support strategic decision-making for Leadership
  • Support identified stakeholders in analysis and establish insights for decisions that improve the care and patient processes
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and prioitise analytical needs
Other
  • Representing Group Quality in ad-hoc committee work as assigned from time to time.
  • Perform the related managerial function of forecasting, budgeting, identify learning needs, initiate career development plan and mentoring staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting and in a supervisory position would be an advantage.
  • Experience in clinical standards and clinical quality
  • Excellent communicating and planning skills, maintain a big-picture perspectivecand understand institution constraints and challenges, build goodwill with institutions and partners,
  • Demonstrate good knowledge and skills in quality and process improvement approaches.
  • Experience in MS Powerpoint, MS Excel especially with data organization and presentation (graphs, charts), and communicate succinctly and concisely on written papers or slides for high-level reporting (for Quality Dashboard reporting to the Board).
  • Possess good organization skills and strong project management.
