[What the role is]

You will support the Business Partnership Branch in strategic and operational financial planning.

[What you will be working on]

You will provide mission critical financial/operational information to drive financial performance, including impactful trends and variance analysis for forecast, budgets and long-term financial projections. You will identify cost-effective funding strategies, develop appropriate costing methodologies, pricing models and policies to set fees and charges. You will also develop financial models and business analysis to support strategic initiatives to review critical strategic and financial decisions.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in finance or business, including Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• Solid business partnership experience
• Effective financial leadership

• Strong partnering, influencing and interpersonal relationship skills. This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration with other departments and stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships is essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. You will need to be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work
experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first
instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or
subsequent contract renewal.
