What the role is:We are looking for individuals who are passionate about shaping frameworks and developing policies to ensure a safe and trusted online space for Singapore. • Drive the establishment of an agency for online safety, including the development of policy and operational processes to support implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and formulate policies and legislation on the fast-moving online content regulation space \xe2\x80\xa2 Research and develop an understanding of the information policy ecosystem both locally and internationally, including recent regulatory developments/actions against technology and their responses, and the implications for Singapore. \xe2\x80\xa2 Address cross-disciplinary content regulation issues that intersect with media, technology, policy, law and industry, amidst evolving societal concerns and technological changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate and build partnerships with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and other Ministries/Agencies

What we are looking for:

• Background in media, law or public policy and/or experience in commercial media/technology companies is not necessary but would be advantageous \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with project management \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent writing skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent critical thinking skills and mental agility \xe2\x80\xa2 Comfortable dealing with ambiguity \xe2\x80\xa2 Comfortable with reading and interpreting legislation and data \xe2\x80\xa2 General interest in infocomm, tech and media issues Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
