Responsibilities:

90% monthly * Monitoring and follow up of ships\' defects promptly

Join assessment on site with relevant parties for troubleshooting.
Scope, review and approve aspects of work including both in-house and Contractor prepared studies and engineering.
Provide engineering inputs in technical reviews to ensure technical integrity, efficiency, and safety of facilities.
Conduct inspections, functional tests on site or workshop with relevant parties.
Ensure that all work is done in a manner consistent with Company\'s guidelines and policies.

Requirements:

NTC/Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Marine engineering field
Preferably with 2-5 years\' working experience in marine related industry
Knowledge of ship repairs, steelworks, fabrication works and NDT will be advantageous
Able to read drawings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in supervising workers and subcontractors in yard environment
Proficient in MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint for reporting purpose
