Assistant Engineer, SS&A

Site Maintenance Engineer
The person will responsible for the service delivery in maintenance of security / IT systems of customer sites.
He will requires ensuring the operational and functional of the system under our scope. Working closely with STEE customer, Contractors, Vendors and establish well working relationship.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering discipline preferably, in Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics, IT industry those with other engineering experiences are also welcome.

• At least 2 years of working experience in Maintenance industry, preferably in Physical Security System market. Those with project execution experience will be added advantage.
• Knowledge in Security System /Server System / Network equipment an added advantage.
• Experience with IT Cyber Security Hardening, Autocad, Microsoft SQL, is an advantage
• Able to be on standby or on shift/rotation to attend on-site 24 hours emergency service.
• Possess good analytical skills and ability to communicate with customers at all level.
• The ability to work quickly and under pressure. Good problem-solving skills needed.

Key Responsibilities
Provide Corrective Maintenance works/activities through the following (but not limited to):

• Responsible for the deployed system functionalities and ensure in working condition at all times.
• Perform Routine and Corrective Maintenance, software enhancement, bug fixes, testing and commissioning to meet contractual requirements.
• Working as a team to support operations, ensure optimum uptime and achieve business KPI.
• Ownership in areas of cost, resources, planning till closure of jobs assigned.
• Collate reports and checklist of PM works for billing purpose and CM works report for filing.
• Do trending of the equipment failure and provides feedback to QA on products quality.
• Keep track of the equipment obsolete and prepare/updates service checklist.
• Monitor and Provide adequate and continuous flow of spare parts availability to support and meet downtime of system. Monitor of EOL/EOS of equipment installed
• Managing and co-ordinate with sub-contractors and customer on site matters, work schedule and quality of work.
• Support Contract administration works (Ordering, billing milestone, O&M submission, Operation Manual submission, maintenance checklist and asset list)
• Provide with quotation for ad hoc service request/ VO work not within maintenance contract and carry out A&A work/ VO work for sites during maintenance cycle.
• Performs site surveys, support of quotations, reviewing of documentation
• Coordinates and support the team on Minutes of Meetings, Power shutdowns and etc
• Expected to work after office hours and over the weekends during exigencies, to support on-going operations
• Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned.
