BASIC FUNCTION To provide supervision, direction and instruction to a group of testers in the testing of generator sets, ATS and switchgears. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the resources of the test cell to achieve timely testing schedule and test requirements in the most effective and efficient ways. Develop method and procedures in testing to optimize customer service, quality, productivity and cost. Manage customers' Factory Acceptance Test and produce Test report as customer's requirement. Manage and maintain all documentations related to testing. Organize utilization of resources to optimize usage. Implement cost reduction projects and continuous improvements within manufacturing. Control performance of the test cell output in terms of quality, quantity, safety and discipline. Ensure testing processes are in accordance with Company Work Instructions. Motivate and coach subordinates to higher level of knowledge, skill and standard. Manage the preventive maintenance and repair of testing equipment to ensure serviceability and efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Diploma/ITE Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience. Possesses good leadership qualities High self-drive and strives for high performance. A good team player and enjoy interacting with people of all levels. Familiar with SAP is an added advantage Proficiency in Personal Computers and Microsoft Office software Able to work overtime with short notification given.
