• The Assistant Facilities Managers (AFM) are the front line of the Managing Agent in responding to each School and Users, to ensure that the Facilities Management Services under the Contract have been properly rendered and performed.
• The AFM would be the site supervisors, and assist the Professional Quantity Surveyors in all site measurement and records.
• The AFM shall keep the details of the inspection in the Maintenance Record and be made available when requested by the Superintending Officer for auditing the performance of the Managing Agent.
• The Managing Agent’s AFM should be present while performance auditing is being carried out and he shall render all assistance to facilitate the completion of the performance auditing.
• The AFM shall monitor works carried out by contractors on site, and make sure works is in accordance to the schedule.
• He/She will have to check on quotations/BQ submitted by contractors, and he/she will be the main contact point to each school OM and users.
• He/She shall attend to urgent/emergency cases on site as and when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma in estate management, building maintenance, architectural, quantitynsurveying, civil/ structural/ mechanical or electrical engineering, landscaping with 3 yrs old relevant experience
