An exciting Assistant Finance Manager job has just become available at a well-known Singapore proprietary trading firm.

About this Assistant Finance Manager Role:
We are looking for a responsible, meticulous and self-driven individual who enjoys a dynamic working environment and does well even with routine administrative tasks. Someone who is not afraid to be hands-on and also enjoys working with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Singapore finance team across various functions:

• Prepare internal finance reports for different stakeholders (e.g. shareholders, management, trading teams, etc.)
• Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections and operating forecasts
• Review trading statements from brokers
• Review monthly net asset value reports prepared by fund administrator
• Partner with the Investment team to attend to investor\'s financial information requests
• Assist with reviews of accounting reports and regulatory submissions prepared by outsourced bookkeeping team
• Assist with invoice payment and payroll-related tasks
• Collating accounting documents for outsourced bookkeeping team
• Other ad hoc administrative tasks

To succeed in this Assistant Finance Manager role, you must have trading products understanding/experience such as ETF, Commodities and FX.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Accounting or the equivalent
• Good understanding of financial instruments (e.g. stocks, ETFs, futures)
• Prior work experience in an accounting/finance role in the finance industry is preferred
• Conversant in using software technology (vendor software solutions e.g. Microsoft/Google suite and organisation-developed software)
• Good communication skills - fluent in spoken and written English
• Quick learner and possess flexibility in delivering efficient and innovative solutions
• Strong team player and fast learner who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Organised, good time management, meticulous and great attention to details
