Job Description
:
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of monthly and year-end management reports and analysis by reviewing submissions from subordinates;
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities;
- Provide support for various reporting including GST, treasury, investment returns, etc.
- Provide commentaries on operational performance and support planning, operations, and implementation of financial and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices which may include review of policies and continual process re-engineering.
- Assist and support projects/group tasks/duties as assigned.
- Degree in Accountancy or any professional qualifications (ACCA/CA).
- At least 5 years of financial accounting/reporting/finance operations experience.
- System knowledge in Sap B1 or other ERP, proficient with excel.
- Must be hands-on to do accounting work if needed (eg posting of JEs, etc).
- Possess clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to work in teams.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong in analysis of financial numbers and relevant accounting knowledge, including updates of relevant Accounting Standards and company policy to ensure books are maintained in compliance and order.
- Comfortable to work with various stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accountancy or any professional qualifications (ACCA/CA).
