• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or other accounting qualification for e.g. ACCA, CA
• 5 – 7 years of experience in accounting gained with fund management/ REITS/ asset management co
• Prior audit experience preferred but this is not a must

Our client is a global PE firm backed by a blue chip and international investment firm. The co’s global HQ is in Singapore with operations in Europe and US. It manages more than S$4 billion funds. It is expanding its finance team and is hiring an assistant finance manager. For this role, you will be an integral part of the Finance Team working closely with key stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for the Fund Management entities. You will be reporting to an experienced FC and work on the following functions:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all accounting and tax functions relating to the Fund Management entities (both Singapore and overseas).

• Record all accounting transactions and prepare financial reports related to budgets and actuals for management and board.

• Process payments, administer bank accounts, monitor liquidity and cashflow.

• Work with tax agents / advisors to ensure local tax filings are met. This includes, and not limited to VAT / GST filings, tax incentive applications, annual declarations, corporate income tax filings, etc.

• Liaising with external auditors to resolve accounting issues and coordinate audit process.

• Assist with shareholder reporting for e.g. review of consolidation performed by accounting agent, update reporting package in Hyperion, etc.

• Liaise with external corporate secretary for resolutions and filing.

• Support CFO / Financial Controller in building up operating policies and procedures, including digitalisation of workflows, etc.

• Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
  

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or other accounting qualification for e.g. ACCA, CA
• 5 – 7 years of experience in accounting gained with fund management/ REITS/ asset management co
• Prior audit experience preferred but this is not a must
• Able to work independently and within a team, hands-on and resourceful, thrive in fast-paced environment
• Highly self-motivated self-starter
• High level of integrity with a diligent work ethic
• Meticulous attention to details
• Team player, collaborative
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to thrive in a newly created set up which is dynamic, collaborative and fast paced
