Job Description

To gear A*STAR up for the innovation-driven economy set out by the Research Innovation & Enterprise 2025 Masterplan, a new Innovation & Enterprise Group (?I&E?) is being established in late-2020. I&E will further strengthen A*STAR in generating economic and societal impact for Singapore. Importantly, I&E will provide coherence to A*STAR?s research collaboration, licensing, and venture creation efforts. It will drive A*STAR?s companies strategy and companies portfolio management. I&E will also play a national role in terms of grants administration, over-watching national platforms like DxD Hub, and the Aerospace Programme, among others. It will be the focal point to drive Innovation & Enterprise (I&E) within A*STAR, as well as actively support I&E efforts in the wider ecosystem.

As part of the Materials, Chemicals and Sustainability Cluster, you will work with strategic and emerging technologies and innovation activities in digital, materials and robotics technologies, to support Singapore?s drive to raise productivity in the sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Working closely with various stakeholders across A*STAR to drive industry engagement strategies to foster R&D collaboration with industry partners and across the eco-system.

2. To assess and develop deep understanding of A*STAR intellectual property (IP) and to commercialise innovations into the market.

3. To support , organizing visits and foster industry collaborations

4. Establish cordial relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and delivery of industry activities and desired outcomes.

5. Account management for specific accounts under MNC/LLEs/SMEs/Start-ups profile and public agencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably more than 2 years of working experience in relevant sectors with good understanding of the technological trends within the sector
• Experience in entreprenuership and technology commercialisation would be an advantage.
• Creative problem solver capable of collaborating across public agencies, research entities and industry players with strong communication skills
• Resourceful, results oriented and a team player.
• Adaptable and able to work as a team
