Job Description

To gear company up for the innovation-driven economy set out by the Research Innovation & Enterprise 2025 Masterplan, a new Enterprise Division (“Enterprise”) is being established in late-2020. Enterprise will further strengthen the company in generating economic and societal impact for Singapore. Importantly, Enterprise Division will provide coherence to the company’s research collaboration, licensing, and venture creation efforts. It will drive the companies' strategy and companies portfolio management. Enterprise will also play a national role in terms of grants administration, over-watching national platforms like DxD Hub, and the Aerospace Programme, among others. It will be the focal point to drive Innovation & Enterprise (I&E) within the company, as well as actively support I&E efforts in the wider ecosystem.

As part of the Modern Services (ICT, Financial and Professional sectors) you will: JOB DESCRIPTION

• Working closely with various stakeholders across the company to drive industry engagement strategies to foster R&D collaboration with industry partners and across the eco-system.

• Develop deep understanding of the company's intellectual property (IP), commercialisation and licensing terms, policies and scientific capabilities to identify appropriate projects and partnership structure with collaborators, for value capture in Singapore.

• To provide IP portfolio management, technology translation and commercialisation of the company's IPs into practical applications to the industry.

• To support contract management, organizing visits/events, staffing duties, oversea trips planning and management reporting.

• Establish cordial relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and delivery of industry activities and desired outcomes.

• Account management for specific accounts under MNC/LLEs/SMEs/Start-ups profile.

• Preferably more than 3 years of working experience in relevant sectors and established good understanding of the technological trends within the sector
• Experience in research and technology translation/commercialisation would be an advantage.
• Creative problem solver capable of collaborating across public agencies, research entities and industry players with strong communication skills
• Resourceful, results oriented and a team player.
• Adaptable and able to work independently/in team with minimal supervision.
