Together, let\'s redefine possibilities and leave a legacy that echoes for generations.What you will be working on:As a member of the Investment Management Department (IMD), you will play a key role in overseeing and optimising the Board\'s investment strategies. In this role, you will: \xe2\x80\xa2 Facilitate the expansion of credit coverage for USD-denominated bonds in Reserves A\'s fixed income portfolio by conducting thorough credit initiations, relative valuations, and providing trade recommendations for USD-denominated issuers. Conduct ongoing credit assessments to ensure issuers maintain sound credit fundamentals and monitor the creditworthiness of existing issuers, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the fixed income portfolio\'s credit coverage and overall performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the Fixed Income team by conducting comprehensive credit analysis on both rated and unrated SGD-denominated bond issuers to assess their suitability for inclusion in Reserves A\'s Fixed Income portfolio. Ensure that bond issuers maintain a sound credit standing for inclusion and continue to meet the criteria for Reserve A\'s Buy List, thereby contributing to the overall health and performance of the portfolio. \xe2\x80\xa2 Execute trades in accordance with investment guidelines, manage the portfolio\'s cash flow, and ensure strict adherence to investment and broker guidelines for every trade, thereby maintaining compliance and integrity in trade execution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the Fixed Income team in negotiating and documenting the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) agreement \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist the department in automating work functions to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring the smooth operation of the Fixed Income team during a period of increased demand and transition.What we are looking for:We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated hands-on experience in Asia credit research, with a strong track record of conducting comprehensive assessments of regional corporates and financial institutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably a CFA charter holder or completed CFA Level I, II, or III exams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related numerical discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of FX markets is a plus, with the ability to optimise hedging techniques in line with overall investment guidelines and objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, along with advanced Excel skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently while being an effective team player. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrates positive attitude, strong analytical capabilities, and adaptability. The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences. Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board.
