Position Overview
To ensure hotel hardware, software and all IT related systems are functioning and assist guests with IT related services (such as wifi connectivity issues)
The Role
A. Maintain Systems
Responsible to follow up with users/vendors on all IT related issues
Enforce Service Level Management process within Service Level Agreements (SLAs),
Manage and maintain inventory of all technological hardware, devices and software and ensure information is up to date
Provide end-user support for all applications
Plan and manage disk space
B. Provide IT Support
Provide network communications support and technical guidance to users
Inspect, test and diagnose computer equipment/systems
Provide end-user support for all applications
Install, configure, manage, maintain, test and evaluate computer systems, networks, workstations and servers.
Maintain user accounts and setup computer, telephone and other IT related equipment
IT setup for events and meetings where required, including attending Pre-Con meetings
Talent Profile
Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant related field
1 - 2 years\' similar/relevant experience in the hotel industry
Able to work after office hours during weekdays and weekends.
Familiar with PMS, POS and other communication systems commonly used in the hotel industry is an advantage
Technically competent on some areas across the spectrum - IOT, apps, infrastructure, security, virtual environment, data, optimization, digital and other computing communications infrastructure
