JOB SCOPE
  • Drive the strategic communications and public relations needs of the F&B portfolio of Marina Bay Sands, including award-winning celebrity chef and signature restaurants.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality coverage and publicity for restaurants owned and operated by Marina Bay Sands. The work includes but is not limited to media monitoring, media pitching, conceptualizing and executing media events/interviews and filming, as well as awards submission work.
  • Support media engagement in at least one regional market, working with the appointed PR agency (if any) to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Drive the planning of media/influencer familiarisation trips for the company, including budgeting, content creation, and stakeholder management.
  • Manage external vendors, including media monitoring agency, to ensure optimal performance against set department goals.
  • Manage the department\xe2\x80\x99s internship programme, including interviewing student candidates and providing on-the-job training.
  • Assist in ad-hoc corporate projects that showcase Marina Bay Sands as an iconic global destination.
  • Assist in cultivating and nurturing meaningful relationships with key media and other important stakeholders to enhance Marina Bay Sands\xe2\x80\x99 reputation.
  • Support department events (non-profits, special events, others) as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field
  • A foodie with a passion for all things culinary, with at least four years of experience in the public relations and/or media environment
  • Excellent writing and communications abilities
  • Able to work independently and as a team player, with a hunger to learn, ideate and contribute
  • A nurturing disposition with the ability to lead and train interns
  • Ability to focus, multi-task and accomplish objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
