COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Contract and Procurement Assistant Manager role in a Leading Industrial Property Management company. This role requires to formulate and drive a consistent approach towards group sourcing and supply. That involves contract negotiation, pricing, and cost management. This role is integral to the efficient management of systems and process controls.

About the Contract and Procurement Assistant Manager Role:
The responsibility of this position includes contribute to the sound management of procurement and contract management activities, ensuring success of the commercial operations by capturing vendor performance and supporting the service with various aspects of procurement and contracts implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build market intelligence capabilities by analysing market and delivery trends
  • Amalgamation of hard and soft service contracts.
  • Monitor and track contract expiry dates to ensure that Tenders or RFP/RFQs are called in a timely manner within stipulated time frame
  • Ensure procurement guidelines and selection criteria are adhered to for awarding of contracts such as Price/Quality scoring method.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to prepare for recommendations
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions for award of contracts
  • Conduct monthly governance meeting with contractors, performing performance review and ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Assist on variation orders, addition/omission, extension of time for Contracts
  • Ensure the closure of final accounts and outstanding invoices issue due to contract expiry as and when necessary
  • Assist in the management of legal/audit issues on contract administration
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff as and when necessary
To succeed in the Contract and Procurement Assistant Manager should be able to develop and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services.

Key Requirements:
  • At least a Diploma in real estate, facilities management, contract management or relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of working experience within property management
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Possess the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
