To be “a data driven organization” is one of the key themes on which the organization aims to achieve Goal 2025. This is an opportunity to be a part of the Data Office function under the central data & analytics team. Data Office leads data management initiatives in the organisation and partners with different business units to support their data aspirations. We are seeking for an experienced Data Quality Analyst to manage Income’s data assets. The Data Quality Analyst will closely work with Business Units, Technology & Data Governance team to improve quality of critical data assets. As the trusted advisor the incumbent will support strategic data initiatives for multiple business units.
Responsibilities:

• Define, enhance, and maintain enterprise data quality framework and guidelines.
• Define and implement the operating model to manage data quality in the organisation.
• Define and manage the roadmap for managing data quality projects.
• Lead the execution of data quality projects by collaborating with Data Stewards and Data Custodians.
• Advise business units on approaches to identify and remediate data quality issues.
• Train Data Stewards, Business & Technology stakeholders on data quality topics.
• Develop data profiles and rules to identify data quality issues.
• Develop data quality dashboards to report and monitor data quality metrics.
• Support development and implementation of Business Glossary and Data Dictionary.
• Collaborate with Technology team to implement technical tools and platforms for data quality rules and data marts to report DQ metrics.

Qualifications

Experience / Skills

• Experienced implementing Data Quality projects in financial industry (Banking, Insurance etc.)
• Experience in working with data quality tools like IDQ, Experian, QualityStage, Trillium, Talend Data Quality etc.
• Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) and ETL processes is essential.
• Experience in working with metadata management tools like Axon, EDC, Collibra, Experian etc.
• Good understanding of Data Governance and Data Management principles.
• Good understanding of enterprise applications and data repositories like Data warehouse, Data Lake etc.
• Experienced in training business and technology teams on data quality management.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and vendors to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and cloud repositories is added advantage.
• Working experience in Insurance sector is added advantage.

Qualification

• 3-5years’ overall experience in data management disciplines such as Data Quality management, Master Data Management, Business Glossary, Data Lineage etc.
• Experience in working on at least 2 enterprise scale data quality implementation projects.
• Degree in Maths / Statistics / Analytics/ Technology/ Business or a relevant discipline
