Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform daily routine inspections of front-of-house areas and back-of-house plantrooms to ensure all essential services are in an operational readiness state.

Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for defects rectification works.

Ensure execution of preventive / predictive maintenance to identify & prepare equipment for maintenance before breakdown.

Response to system breakdowns, address and resolve operational issues relating to lighting, fan, power, water, etc for safe environment for guests, staff and living collections.

Maintain proper inventory of store items for electrical, sanitary and plumbing, painting, carpentry, and hand tools.

Monitor utilities consumption and establish baseline consumption for the park.

Develop and maintain documentation for Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessment for the park.

Ensure safe working conditions through taking corrective actions to maintain equipment and process within safe operating limits.

Procure works and services through e-procurement platform.

Experience in tender review and preparation of tender specifications including review of bills of quantities, taking-off quantities for adjustment and review updates to made to subsequent tender.

Ensure all licenses and permits are renewed on time.

Maintain records of all equipment lists for machines, pumps, aircon, fire protection, etc for the park.

Attend Hand Over-Take Over (HOTO) inspections for defects identification and defects rectification work to be carried out by appointed contractors.

Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors on Post Temporary Operating Permit (TOP) or fitting-out works for tenanted unit on utilities and M&E matter.

Maintain records of all permits, licenses required for operating the equipment, machine, plant, system including OMM, as-built drawing, warranty, test reports.

Maintain records of all statutory clearance, certifications, and drawings for obtaining TOP for the project.

Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum degree in Facilities Management / Estate Management.

At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Facilities Management in built environment.

As this is a supervisory position, candidate should possess good people management, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience with Building Management System (BMS), and good understanding of buildings' codes and authorities' requirements

Good knowledge with Microsoft Office and competent with administrative and Facilities Management work
