What the role is:Assistant Manager, Finance (Payroll & Administration)What you will be working on:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll Monitor outsourced vendor's contract compliance, performance and resolve any issues or queries in a timely manner. Point of Contact for Finance and coordinate payroll functions with business partners, HR Department and vendor. Perform specific checks on payroll report prepared by outsourced vendor. Prepare payroll related journal, reconciliations, ad hoc payments and tasks not outsourced to outsourced vendor Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll. Programme Evaluation & Administration Manage and monitor the process relating to Programme/Project Evaluation framework. Engage programme/project owners and work with them to plan, conduct and monitor pre-, during, and post-implementation evaluations. Review and propose changes and improvements to the Programme/Project Evaluation framework. In charge of Finance's administrative functions, which includes coordinating and facilitating internal and external meetings, agenda preparation and secretariat duties for the Department. Workday Security Roles (Finance) Coordinate and manage user access (Finance Role) relating to Workday system Timely document system processes and procedures and assist with internal and external audits related to Workday role administration. Conduct periodic and annual user access/role verification and confirmation by schools and departments in accordance with IT governance framework. Assist with internal and external audits related to system role administration.What we are looking for:JOB REQUIREMENTS: Qualification in Accounting or related accounting qualifications. At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience with policy development and implementation. Knowledge in Workday and Payroll processes would be an added advantage. Proficient in MS Office applications. Independent, meticulous, and resourceful with positive work attitude. Resilient team player who can manage competing priorities and deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
