Role Summary: Responsible for the financial & management reporting of the business.
Job functions will cover Accounting, Trade Finance, Budgeting and Forecasting, Audit and Tax
Manage day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with the organization’s accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Leads the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly statutory and management reporting
• Leads the annual preparation of budget and ensures the budget are within targets
• Analysis of monthly, quarterly & yearly financial reporting & reconciliation with management reporting
• Prepare monthly report on purchases, freight, demurrage, interest cost and any ad-hoc report to analysis the business cost with accuracy.
• Ensures external reporting in relation to GTP, government statistics, tax or transfer pricing matters.
• Manage monthly price communication of woodchips
• Manage working capital and FX exposure with banking team.
• Ensure proper credit review is done with internal control.
• Ensure that banking lines are managed efficiently.
• Follow up actively on outstanding AR/AP.
• Support the team on business & financial initiatives
• Develop lead and implement to improve current reporting and process.
• Take initiative and be responsible to take on ad-hoc projects to improve business processes or new investments.
• Manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Accounting Degree from reputable University and with professional qualification
• At least 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role. Those from the commodity trading environment will have an added advantage.

• Prior experience in Big 4 preferred.
• Experience working with Treasury and knowledge in Trade Finance will be an added value
• Good understanding of Accounting Standards.
• Able to manage full sets of accounts and audit.
• Experience in SAP is preferred.
• Financial Planning and Analysis is a plus.
• Excellent in excel and other Microsoft office applications.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Global mindset and forward looking.
