Job Description

Be part of the effective and sustainable management of the financial position of post-graduate degree programmes, research centers and endowed accounts in the college. Partner with organisational units in the college to oversee and support the development of strong and consistent finance management capability to mitigate risks and optimize business performance.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of school\xe2\x80\x99s Self Financing programs: budgeting, planning and forecasting activities

Prepare budget templates and ensure timely submission of budget data

Monitor budget execution and utilization. Perform evaluation on budget utilization and performance to facilitate decision making over prioritization and strategy.

Conduct decision-support analyses that provides real-time and accurate financial information draws insights from such analyses to make recommendations to the local unit\xe2\x80\x99s Management team, as well as relevant finance stakeholders

Supports Finance Business Partner in any other matters

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy/finance or equivalent

Chartered Accountant, 3-5 years of relevant experience

Knowledge in SAP, Concur, Ariba, Power BI, Tableau are advantageous

Comfortable operating in a matrix structure and in a constantly changing environment

Ability to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively within the team

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels

Strong analytical thinking and communication skills both written and verbal

Outstanding attention to details and follow-up skills

Well-developed prioritization, time management and multi-tasking skills

Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion
