Job Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) & Controllership assistant manager will support the overall reporting and controllership function. Job function includes assistance in reporting functions such as the preparation of budget, forecast and long-term projections, management reporting. Controllership functions include journal posting, balance sheet reviews, dormant account reviews, enterprise structure review, account reconciliation, risk control matrix-related work, WBS creation & closure, grant claim submission & audit.

The primary responsibilities are:
Controllership

Financial Governance, Financial Risk Management and Control
Update Risk Control Matrix in a timely manner

Budgeting & Reporting
Assist in preparation of budgeting & reporting-related tasks.

Grant Claim Administration
Assist with the reimbursement functions and ensure the recordings are in accordance to the terms and conditions stipulated in the funding agreement and timely submission of claims in accordance with the agreement. Assist with both internal and external audits including AUP audits as required by the funding agencies/ministries. To ensure income accrual/billing/grant claims are performed timely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably with audit experience
• Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Diplomatic in handling internal and external stakeholders, with proven track record in building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at various level.
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, good working knowledge of SAP S4HANA is an added advantage
• Excellent team player who demonstrates flexibility and embraces collaboration
