We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide an effective, dedicated and professional administrative support to the growing finance function as well as internal audit function in the Solanio project (BAU plus integration activities across the finance area), including deal with complex and highly confidential requests, particularly around diary management and internal communications.
  • Provide high quality expenses administration (Fusion system) and travel services (expected to be limited) for the key senior executives in the above functions
  • Serves as a liaison with others within and outside the company handling activities such as event planning, travel arrangements and project follow up
  • Monitor areas of accountability regularly
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of business information
  • Responsible to produce reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as/ when required
  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures
  • Ready to take up Ad hoc projects and tasks

Requirements

Knowledge
  • Strong intimate knowledge of HSBC's various Global business's and functions
  • Good working knowledge of excel and Outlook
Experience
  • Preferred to have been in administrative and secretarial areas
  • Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with multiple senior stakeholders across a matrix organisation
  • Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
Capabilities
  • Outstanding relationship management and good influencing skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
