This role supports the Manager, HRBP, and partners with the School Management on all aspects of HR and faculty affairs with the aim to address manpower and development needs for the School. Responsibilities HR Partnership Assist in partnering and supporting stakeholders and employees in a proactive and consultative approach on a full spectrum of HR functions. Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, recruitment and rewards strategies. Partner with HR Centre of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects such as employee engagement surveys, people development programs, change management plans, performance management and promotional exercises etc. Partner with the School Management in analyzing and identifying issues and providing recommendations on HR solutions. Operational Excellence and Support on HR & Faculty Affairs Support in manpower planning and projection of faculty and staff. Plan and manage faculty search/appointment, re-appointment, post retirement re-employment for various faculty tracks. Support in seeking approvals on faculty leadership appointments and re-appointment. Plan and manage Promotion and Tenure (PT) and Lecturers & Practice Track Promotion Exercise (LPPE) Assist in planning and implementing faculty performance appraisal exercise. Support Associate Chair (Faculty) in the implementation of development initiatives (such as mentorship programme) for faculty Support in onboarding and off-boarding matters. Assist HRBP on disciplinary or grievances matters. Any other duties as assigned. HR Policies, Processes and Systems Partner with fellow HR Team members across Schools under the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences in driving development, standardisation and improvement of HR related processes, standard operation procedures (SOPs), and systems, with the objective of achieving operational efficiency & effectiveness, compliance with regulations and policies, and service excellence. Educate employees on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understand and gather their feedback and input Requirements Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant working experience Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively with outstanding attention to details Resilient, strong planning, organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Able to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentiality Good knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws would be advantageous Comfortable operating in a matrix structure and in a constantly changing environment
