Oversee the day-to-day operations of all warehouse and parts administration
Ensure effective and accurate movement and storage of materials in the warehouse by establishing operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials
Oversees the day-to-day operations of stock analysis, planning & replenishment
Work closely on service centres requirement to ensure timely turnaround of parts required and follow up the process for ordering out-of-stock parts that requires immediate attention
Optimize parts inventory, minimizes obsolescence and maintaining high level of parts support to external and internal customers
Ensure accuracy of inventory against system records by conducting cycle counts on periodic basis
Plan and achieve the annual budget, KPIs and project assignments
Develop strategies and plans to align the functional objectives in parts inventory control and logistics with department objectives
Develop plan with parts technical sourcing team to continually improve Aftermarket parts sources and cost benefits
Develop effective procurement plan and purchasing terms and conditions to improve parts availability and to reduce parts cost
Manage supply and contracting sources, monitor, evaluate and improve their performance
Optimize parts shipping and delivery cost and to ensure overseas and local delivery meeting schedule
Optimize warehouse or stores utilization and resources deployment in meeting the incoming and outgoing parts schedule
Ensure parts storage accuracy with minimum parts stock discrepancy at all time
Recommend system enhancement and seek continuous process improvements to reduce cost, improve productivity and efficiencies
Work with sales team to plan for future stock level for new automotive models
Ensure staff are appropriately trained and motivated to carry out their responsibility to the required standards
Preparation of reports (inventory, TAT etc.) as required
Assist in planning, analysing and maintaining of KPIs
Ensure all operations comply to good 5S housekeeping and safety standards
Ensure all key job functions are appropriately delegated to appropriate individuals during an absence
Maintain strong rapport with the product principals, key suppliers and internal customers
Performs ad hoc duties as assigned by Supervisors
Requirements
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain & equivalent.
At least 3-5 years in management warehouse or supply chain experience in automotive / marine / heavy construction equipment industry
Experience with PC software such as MS office and WMS system
Possess strong leadership skills
