Job Description

As a key member of the Engineering and Development Cluster\'s BHS team, you will oversee the operations and maintenance of our Baggage Handling System. You will manage our BHS Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractor, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. Using advanced data analytics tools, you will identify opportunities for improving system operations, availability, and performance.Innovation is crucial in our fast-paced environment. You will lead innovation trials and system improvement projects, incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as IoT sensors and robotics to enhance system efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the BHS design, processes, and maintenance contract scope.
• Manage and collaborate with BHS O&M contractors to ensure routine maintenance and timely resolution of system faults, aiming for peak system availability.
• Analyze data to optimize processes, address potential risks, and boost system performance.
• Specify requirements, procure, and project-manage system innovation trials and improvement projects, including Site Acceptance Testing.
• Explore and integrate new technologies to improve BHS operations and maintenance.
• Implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies for the BHS.
• Oversee cybersecurity, safety, and cost management related to BHS operations and maintenance.
• Execute Business Continuity Plans during BHS failures and supervise off-hours contractor work.
• Review and enhance existing operations and maintenance procedures and policies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards, as well as Critical IT Infrastructure (CII) regulations, including VAPT and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with authorities, external agencies, consultants, vendors, and Changi Airport Group stakeholders.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computing, or a related field.
• Candidates with no experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in material handling or automation is a plus.
• Strong drive for change and innovation with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively to stakeholders.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work well with both internal and external partners.
