Deloitte's Deals and Strategy - Infrastructure Advisory specialises in advising clients’ bidding, investment, M&A and financing transactions in the infrastructure, energy, environment and resources sectors and providing related services including M&A buy-side and sell-side advisory, tender advisory, financing advisory, feasibility study, strategy development, financial modeling, due diligence and transaction services. Our professionals help clients identify important issues and offer solutions for their strategic planning or finance transactions. Infrastructure Advisory Services covers all areas related to corporate finance, valuation, strategy and due diligence. Our Infrastructure experts take the lead in planning, structuring and implementing capital-intensive investment and financing transactions on behalf of clients.


Role and Responsibilities

• Lead a collaborative team providing holistic and customized financial and commercial consultancy services to clients.
• Lead market and industry research, peer company or project analysis.
• Analyse and advise clients on project documents and provide recommendations.
• Perform in-depth due diligence and analysis on projects, asset portfolios, contractors and operators, and prepare reports and deliverables.
• Build financial models for project finance, bidding and M&A transactions.
• Prepare and lead client presentations and meetings.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of marketing materials and proposals.
• Lead a diverse team of talented financial advisors to deliver on client engagements.
• Develop relationships with clients and networks of internal and external professionals and subject matter experts.
• Lead project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Develop and your reputation as a financial advisor for the broader infrastructure industry and your expertise in a few specialisation.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the service line and the firm’s other services.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of internal and external training programs.
• Actively coach and support development of junior team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of external consulting or advisory experience.
• Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials and business focus.
• Advanced degrees in Finance or Economics would be desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.

• Strong financial modelling and business analysis skills.
• Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership.
