Job Description

The Environment and Sustainability (E&S) team drives CAG\'s strategy and initiatives to build a sustainable Changi Airport. These include carbon emissions reduction, energy transition, circular economy, water conservation, climate resilience and compliance with environmental regulations.As a member of the E&S team, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering various Divisions and Clusters across Changi Airport Group to implement a holistic Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework, based on international ESG principles and frameworks.
• Facilitating strategic discussions on ESG considerations across the company, including with senior management.
• Developing a biodiversity strategy and implementing the biodiversity action plan for Changi Airport. This will involve extensive research and benchmarking exercises, project management, stakeholder interviews and close collaboration with both internal and external partners.
• Regular management reporting and analysis of environmental indicators.
• Assisting with stakeholder engagement, including government agencies and corporations, on environmental sustainability issues.
• Assisting with other environmental initiatives (e.g. emissions, waste, water, etc.) where necessary.

• Good Degree, preferably in Environmental Sustainability, Engineering or Business, with at least 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of global environmental reporting and disclosure standards, including but not limited to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, would be useful
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and project management skills
• Strong data analysis capability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good writing, storyboarding and presentation abilities
• Prior experience in environmental or biodiversity fields will be advantageous
