What the role is:As Senior Manager/Manager (Malay Translation), you will be part of the Translation Department in the Public Communications Division.What you will be working on:Your role is to support Whole-of-Government national initiatives and public communications efforts to produce quality translated communications materials. You will also be required to provide support to the secretariat of the National Translation Committee (NTC).What we are looking for:- Effectively bilingual in the English and Malay languages - Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in translation or communications/language related field - Keen interest and have a strong grasp of current affairs - Ability to adapt to a changing environment with good critical thinking skills - Experience in supervising a team - Experience in project management skills or secretariat duties - Experience in handling Translation Management System or related computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools is advantageous Please note that this is a one-year contract position and only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
