You will be part of the team responsible in overseeing the administration, operations, management and programming of the Former Ford Factory (FFF), a World War II permanent gallery, which contributes to NLB\'s strategic thrust to achieve excellence in Singapore content and a nation that knows our history.Location: 351 Upper Bukit Timah Rd, Singapore 588192
Division: National Archives of Singapore / Corporate Development (Former Ford Factory)[What you will be working on:]
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Former Ford Factory (FFF), including overseeing cashless machines, visitor reception, closing reports, daily compound checks for defects, and content and publicity updates.
  • Drive visitor engagement by conceptualising promotional programmes and outreach initiatives, identifying target customer segments to meet FFF visitorship KPIs, while also ensuring timely response to CRM inquiries and leading engaging tours.
  • Elevate the visitor experience by providing comprehensive training and mentorship to volunteer docents in delivering engaging commentary, while actively monitoring their performance and gathering visitor feedback during tours.
  • Staff management : Supervise and coordinate operations staff, liaising with manpower agencies recruitment and resignations, training, roster planning, budget tracking and requests, billing, and covering counter duty when necessary.
  • Finance and procurement: . This involves budget planning and monitoring, , daily reconciliation of admission fees , and procurement of operational items for FFF.
  • Manage inventory, fixed assets, and artefacts. This includes ensuring stocktake of assets, monitoring wear and tear of furniture and furnishings, procuring replacements, tracking inventory and return timelines, , and planning yearly condition checks for collection maintenance.
  • Provide support for building matters, such as conducting regular site visits to identify issues pertaining to infrastructure and maintenance works.
  • Any other duties assigned.
[What we are looking for:]
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in customer service, hospitality, operations and administration, programming and outreach.
  • Knowledge in basic accounting and government procurement processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage stakeholders from all walks of life.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good command of a second language would be an added advantage.
  • Meticulous and self-driven, with the abilities to manage operational matters especially in problem solving and meeting FFF\'s operational needs.
