Assistant Manager, Master Planning

Job Description


We are looking for a motivated individual to be part of the Master Planning team, to play a part in shaping the future of Changi Airport through forward planning to introduce and install new airport infrastructures to ensure adequate capacity to support Changi Airport\xe2\x80\x99s growth. You will need to analyse, plan and enable strategic decision making around airport capacity enhancements, airport infrastructure and real estate developments and operations optimization to shape the future of Changi Airport. You will grow on your stakeholder management capabilities as you collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including airlines, government agencies and airport partners to manage airport capacity within the aviation ecosystem.
:

  • Analyse flight schedules and operational data to forecast demand for airport facility requirements.
  • Conduct simulation studies to identify potential airport capacity bottlenecks (e.g. roadway traffic, passenger terminals, airfield, etc.).
  • Plan, design and recommend infrastructural and operational measures to enhance the throughput of various airport touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and airport partners to optimise operational processes.
  • Ensure that the airport real estate land use plan is updated and optimized to support future airport developments.
  • Work with government agencies, project teams, contractors, consultants and airport partners, etc. to coordinate and interface the airport development control matters.

Requirements:
  • Good Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Transportation Engineering or related disciplines, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with airport planning/operations, airfield and apron operations and experience in analytical and simulation software (e.g. CAST, VISSIM), GIS-based mapping will be advantageous.
  • Experience with traffic flow modelling, traffic impact assessment and roadway design will be advantageous.
  • Experience with ICAO Annex 14 and ICAO standards and recommended practices will be advantageous.
  • Experience with Singapore real estate land use planning and Development Control requirements will be advantageous.
  • Excellent data analytical capabilities and quantitative skills.
  • Creative and with strong analytical thinking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, versatile and able to thrive in a fast paced and multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong learner with the willingness to contribute to different aspects of planning.
