Job Description




Reporting directly to the Head of Department, your main responsibilities include close collaboration with Regional headquarters on system & data-related activities and enhancement of internal system in accordance to requirements. You will also be involved in supporting the procurement activities by ensuring that data is reliable for all users and support digitisation initiative projects. You are expected to have great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • As part of the Global HQ, to be in close collaboration with Regional HQs and internal stakeholders on terminal-related functions or systems issues, review codes and to clean up obsolete codes.
  • Involvement in system enhancement such as initiating data migration
  • Internal collaboration with key stakeholders for system management or revamp on terminal-related functions
  • Supporting cost control team on costs saving opportunities with Regional HQs and conduct costs analysis
The Successful Applicant

You must have a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain and a minimum of 6 years experience within the Container Shipping industry with exposure in Terminal Procurement/Management. You must possess very strong influencing skills to be able to deliver value and advice to peers and stakeholders. Additionally, you must have analytical skills and data interpretation in order to use these metrics to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance.
