Job Purpose

This regional role will be reporting to the Regional Head of P&R and Org Management, this role has dual responsibilities in regional capacity and in Operating entity capacity.

Regional Role:
1. Drive protection & resilience strategy and activities across the Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) region, providing support to entities across the Asia Pacific in reaching their P&R KPIs
2. Steer operational improvement of the overall Protection & Resilience maturity of the region by working closely with OE P&R counterparts. Work with the Operating Entities (OEs) to ensure business and operational risk is minimised through the management of business continuity & crisis management procedures.
3. Works with Group, regional cross functions, and OEs, to ensure standardisation and consistency across all reporting, information gathering, data management, and communication.
4. Work with OEs for Budget and PD guidance and follow through in terms of tools and process implementations, timely audit closure, periodic report submission, organizing Regional summit, coordinating community set up for best practices etc.
5. Support COO strategy through SD/PD contribution, OKR, and goal setting for COO teams, supporting management reporting
6. Work on other organization management topics within IT & Ops functions in the region

Operating Entity-specific role:
1. Drive & execute protection & resilience strategy and activities within the AZAP Singapore branch including running regular Fire drills, Crisis simulation exercises, Global Incident Management, and Emergency response management
2. Ensure timely closure of any audit items on the P&R function for the AZAP branch and any management reporting for the AZAP branch P&R maturity assessment
3. Will be required to assist the Regional Head of Protection & Resilience in enforcing the Safe Management Measures (\xe2\x80\x9cSMM\xe2\x80\x9d) in the Singapore AZAP office, under any Pandemic situations.

What you do

In the Regional role:
1. Support the Regional Head of P&R in delivering the overall P&R strategy and improving maturity across all domains under the P&R framework, across all of the Asia Pacific Region.
2. Drive strategic P&R projects and steer solutions for Asia toward improving the overall maturity of the region in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Protective Security, Information and Document Management, Emergency Response Management, and Governance.
3. Conduct various governance forums to steer APAC OEs\' progress in P&R domains and attend OE\'s P&R Forums, run annual summits, crisis simulation exercises, etc
4. Provide training and guidance to domain experts in the region for Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Protective Security, Information
5. Review all necessary P&R documents and P&R activities for the AZAP Branch and all OEs across the APAC region
6 Steer and support Oes to conduct Business Continuity and Crisis Management Testing Exercises
7. Supporting and driving OEs in the development of Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, Crisis Unit Set Up, and Crisis Plans, which include discussions with management on critical processes
8. Act as the central point between Allianz Services, Group, or other external third parties and OEs in setting up outsourced services for any of the P&R domains or P&R projects.
9. Supporting OEs in PSM initiatives such as the development of event security, executive security, physical facility concepts, personnel security, travel security
10. Support the Regional head of P&R in ad-hoc P&R events such as Business Continuity Awareness Week, P&R Conference, Community sharing, etc
11. Guide OEs on SD & PD and budget activities for P&R functions

In the OE role
1. Drive P&R initiatives for the AZAP Branch in Singapore across Governance, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Protective Security, and Information and Document Management Domains.
2. Work with various cross functions within the AZAP branch to ensure event security, personnel security, emergency response management, and crisis management process and framework are well in place
3. Conduct regular training activities to ensure P&R knowledge building and awareness of staff across the organization
4. Steer closure of any open audit items
5. Responsible for preparing and presenting any management reporting on P&R to Group, region, or other stakeholders
6. Work as a backup for other safeguarding functions as appropriate (for example Identity and Access Management, Data privacy champion, etc)
7. Conduct/Lead appropriate crisis simulation exercises, emergency exercises, and fire drills, appoint appropriate fire wardens, first aiders, etc. to ensure AZAP Branch resilience is up to date and assist in maintaining high standards of compliance and a safe environment for employees in Singapore in the context of any kind of Pandemic/crisis situation.

What you bring

  • Knowledge and job experience in Governance functions (Business continuity/IT service continuity management/etc.)
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Ability to work within a team and alone, Excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with all stakeholders remotely as well as on-premise and across countries.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, able to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally
  • Project Management and coordination experience, ability to successfully influence, persuade, and motivate others to act.Good organisation and task-planning skills
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SharePoint; Microsoft Outlook; Web-based communications tools; and internet-based research.
  • High level of motivation, drive, enthusiasm and commitment
  • Willingness to learn and develop and take challenges outside the comfort zone
  • University Degree or relevant experience in previous business roles
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in industry or business continuity
