Job Description

As part of the Engineering & Maintenance team, you will be actively managing the day-to-day operations/maintenance of the civil facilities and airfield in Singapore Seletar Airport, including the runway, taxiways, roadways, perimeter fencing, and all other civil works in the aerodrome. You will be tasked with digitising, streamlining, and improving the current processes of civil works and maintenance activities with our service partners and stakeholders.

You will also be required to drive sustainability and innovation initiatives in the areas of engineering and maintenance at Seletar Airport.

Job responsibilities:

• Oversee and review existing maintenance contracts of civil works
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on all civil works and facilities, including emergency or incident response
• Support friction testing and spot level surveys for runway and taxiways
• Propose improvements for performance efficiencies
• Manage, track, and report the progress of works involving contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Stakeholder management
• Ensure works and documentation are compliant with regulatory requirements and audit checks
• Programme management and oversee upcoming runway and taxiway re-surfacing works at Seletar Airport, including the entire budgetary process and cycle
• Drive the digitisation of all Seletar maintenance-related data to enhance asset management and performance
• Support the study and implementation of energy-efficient initiatives and technologies. E.g., EV chargers, solar panels, etc
• Support the study and implementation of innovation initiatives. E.g., drain overflowing sensors and monitoring system, use of drones for inspection of civil facilities, etc

• Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with 2 years of work experience
• Knowledge and working experience in maintenance of engineering systems and civil facilities, particularly in a 24/7 operational environment
• Experience in procurement, projects and contracts management will be advantageous
• Passion in working on innovation and sustainability projects
• Possesses a great work attitude and enjoy field work
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Equipped with Basic Auto-Cad Drawing and Office 365 knowledge
• Class 3 driving licence would be required
