Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monitor vessel schedule and ensure it runs as planned and track and review any changes.
  • Manage service (and vessel) schedules as well as manage any and update contingencies which are planned in advance through discussion with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholder to ensure system is updated in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate and perform negotiation slot partners (schedule, accident etc.) to meet internal requirements.
  • Manage non-critical accidents through timely incident reporting.
  • Gather port & berth information on a regular basis.
  • Manage vessel bunker consumption.
  • Assist to verify slot cost settlement.
  • Distribute general sailing instruction promptly and completely prior to vessel\xe2\x80\x99s commencement in service
  • Provide assistance to GM/DGM as required.
  • Lead in projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in transportation and logistics or equivalent
  • At least 4 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good communication and negotiation skills in order to balance interest of various parties
  • Strong leadership ability to guide junior team members
  • Strong organization and coordination skills
  • Able to work independently with sense of urgency
  • Liner shipping operations experience advantageous
