Our Client provides high-quality Japanese food ingredients to both retail and food service sectors, including supermarkets, restaurants, and online platforms.Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of warehouse activities.
• Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment.
• Act as the company's safety officer, prioritizing staff safety and security.
• Lead and manage the warehouse team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to enhance team morale.
• Assist with deliveries when required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Proficiency in speaking and understanding Japanese to liaise with management.
• Valid forklift license.
• Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
• Solid understanding of inventory control and logistics principles.
• Work location: Tanjong Penjuru.
