Job Description


[What the role is]
To assist in the overall implementation of strategies and plans in focus areas of
(1) training opportunities via partnership work and collaborations, (2) analysis of sector needs, and
(3) cost neutrality, so as to improve the capability and capacity of social service professionals in serving the needs of the sector as aligned to the 4ST, while keeping SSI continually relevant, responsive and able to achieve the Cost Recovery Ratio, as imposed by MOF.[What you will be working on]Implement partnership and engagement strategy for SSI to meet existing and emerging training needs of social service professionals (SSPs)

  • Cultivate relationships with existing training organisations (TOs)
  • Engage new TOs that can deliver courses for the social service sector
  • Facilitate negotiations with TOs and potential collaborators, understanding key interests and to reach win-win agreements
  • Implement partnership and engagement strategies based on data-driven findings
  • Drive conversations through the provision of business solutioning to elevate pain points of partners (SSAs)
Implement the Analysis framework (ADDIE model) for SSI, ensuring its course offerings are relevant
  • Engage in systematic data collection, paying close attention to sound data gathering and data security guidelines
  • Regularly share data with cross-unit matrix team
  • Analyse trends from data collection of past course runs
  • Track and report on performance metrics/ dashboards, where required
  • Facilitate sense-making of data derived by cross-unit matrix team in the identification of courses (to implement, maintain or drop) from Training Directory
Business development and marketing efforts of SSI\xe2\x80\x99s courses
  • Identify and develop new training and upskilling opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand partnerships (e.g., DR Partners) with established and reputable organisations
  • Manage Block Books or training requests from Government agencies and SSAs
  • Implement marketing and publicity efforts in their respective cross-unit matrix teams
  • Explore new distribution channels to effectively reach SSIs target audience (SSPs, SSAs, Funders, TOs, Government agencies and Adult Educators)
Stakeholder management, Sector engagement and community outreach, and working across teams
  • Establish community partnerships and cultivate relationships with SSAs and government agencies
  • Manage issues which may arise and develop appropriate resolution/s
  • Co-develop with team leads collaborative, annual / quarterly plans to engage the sector
  • Implement developed plans, including communication, enablement, demand generation and closing business leads
  • Manage project deliverables, tracks progress, facilitate meetings, stakeholder management, initiate follows up with the stakeholders covering areas not limited to developmental, operational and marketing needs
  • Work across Groups and Divisions, establish network and identify collaboration opportunities
Funder management
  • Take the lead as SSG Secretariat for SCTG in the funding and administrative liaison on all SSG matters.
  • Facilitates discussions, coordinate meetings across NCSS and SSG, track progress, and ensure that all project deliverables are met.
  • Manage and analyse issues which may arise and suggest appropriate resolutions.
  • Work across NCSS divisions and SSG to manage project deliverables.
  • Manage the project timeline and ensure that NCSS transit to the new LOA in a timely manner.
  • To be updated with the latest developments and share updates with internal colleagues, i.e., new funding requirements and policy changes.
SCT Committee Secretariat
  • To plan, organise and work with NCSS senior management and secretaries in the planning of the SCT Comm meetings for FY22.
  • To prepare materials when requested \xe2\x80\x93 i.e., onboarding slides, bio-writeups, appointment/ appreciation letters, Board Updates, Nominations for Award and etc as requested by Chairperson, Fermin, and Strategy team.
  • Draft NOMs for monthly meetings.
  • Provide secretariat duties across all meetings, i.e., ensure min. quorum for all SCT comm meetings, preparation of drinks and carpark coupons, tracking of attendance, presentation of matters arising and key project updates and ensuring all agenda items are presented within the allocated timeslots.
  • Manage timelines and ensure that agenda, meeting materials and NOMs are gathered and circulated in a timely manner.
  • Manage and analyse any issues that may arise and suggest appropriate resolutions to Fermin and Chairperson accordingly.
