The Central Procurement Office is seeking a highly motivated and proactive team member to join our Shared Services Division. The successful candidate will collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders to deliver a full spectrum of procurement activities to meet the dynamic needs of the businesses.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end support, advice and training on procurement policy, procedures and system
Perform sourcing for General Goods and Services (GGS) category
Administer quotation and tender processes and review procurement documents as per University Procurement Policy and Procedures
Participate in the evaluation of bids and conduct negotiations to ensure value for money
Ensure that that bids are evaluated fairly, prepare recommendation reports for approval and award the bids in consultation with users
Perform procurement transactions in NUS\' e-procurement portal (i.e. publication, bid download, award, PO creation, goods receipt) to meet service levels
Point of contact between users and other specialist departments such as Legal and Finance
Develop a sound supplier network, manage supplier relationships and contracts
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and improve workflows
Regular reporting of procurement performance and spend analysis
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by NUS Management or Department
