Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Source and procure items required.2. Work and coordinate closely with site, vendors, PM, QS and other related functions in sourcing/procuring required items3. Do competitive Bidding when required for new purchases to ensure cost competitiveness without sacrificing quality4. Maintain and monitor purchase orders and ship items according to the required dates5. Arrange and coordinate closely the shipment request with the Logistic team/appointed forwarders6. Build and establish rapport with Suppliers for service & quality improvement7. Conduct supplier review, develop strategy for improvement, initiate business and organizational partnerships8. Attend, liaise and close any quality related issues with the vendors and site9. Other ad-hoc jobs related to sourcing & procurement.QUALIFICATION: 1. Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain or Engineering related course2. At least 5 years of proven and Solid years of work experience in the same field and similar industries3. Knowledgeable in MS Office (especially MS Excel, Powerpoint), ERP system, MYOB
