Position summary statement: The incumbent will plan, direct, manage and supervise the operations and internal administration of the in-house reservations and telephone section. Primary Responsibilities: a) Oversee the smooth operation of the department. b) Supervision and train when necessary on Reservations skills c) Perform 3 days arrivals check d) Responsible for the orderly attachment of reservations correspondence e) Work closely with Sales Dept on status of group reservations and update group namelist in Opera system with correct billing instructions f) Assist in preparation & compilation of reservations reports (No Show/Cancellation/Commission Report) g) Ensure advance purchase reservations are charged on a timely manner h) Ensure all Cable Movies and Public Music is in working order. i) Ensure all Events for the day/week/month are updated accordingly. j) Relieve operator and perform function of operator when there is a shortage of staff. k) Ensure all calls are handled professionally and in a warm and friendly manner. l) Assist in all Front Office areas when necessary to meet business needs. Talent Profile: a) Minimum 3 Years in a similar position. b) Should possess GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 or \xe2\x80\x98N\xe2\x80\x99 level and some supervisory skills. c) Fluent in English is a must. d) Very good written and oral skills. e) Good knowledge of Opera system and Switchboard. f) High standards of accuracy and excellent time management.
