Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 yrs of exeperience in warehouse or operation.
At least 'N' level/ 'O' level/ Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma
Basic computer knowledge
DUTIES:
1. Leading a team in warehousing section (including stock in /stock out) to ensure safety compliance, deliver targeted cost, quality and quantity.
2. Ensure tasks are performance according to work instructions such as loading/ unloading of incoming and outgoing shipment, validating
finished goods quantity against Individual Item Sheet (IIS) and Delivery Shipping Items (DSI), labelling and marking of export carton.
3. Allocate manpower based on daily work activities within stock in/stock out, packaging and warehousing areas.
4. Cover duties for absentee(s) or reallocate manpower within warehousing areas.
5. Conduct on-job training /cross training for new and existing workers based on level of competency.
6. Analyse and resolve warehousing issues.
7. Escalate and follow up unresolved warehousing issues such as storage space issue to ensure closure.
8. Identify hazard and safety issues at workplace and propose counter measurement.
9. Tidy up any loose end and make improvement from the work processes to increase work efficiency.
10. Encourage an environment of continuous improvements for all assigned warehousing works and processes.
11. Effectively communicate key issues to the workers at stock in/ work out, packaging and warehousing processes.
12. Responsible for movement of packaging material which includes recording and validating of the quantity and type of receiving /
withdrawn material such as wooden pallet, inner carton, export carton etc.
13. Alert operation manager to stock up packaging material as when required
14. Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by operation manage to achieve team objective.
