Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of chargehands, workers and sub-contractors to perform on-site hull painting, cleaning, insulation and \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 level task activities
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man hourreturns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues
• Update daily manpower deployment record and over time.
• Liaise with owners and paint representative and surveyor on complying with paint specifications and requirements
• Attend the daily VSCC meeting if necessary.
• Obtain entry into confined space permits or any other work permit system.
• Inspect and update the check list.
• Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule.
• Prepare reports on job status and project completion.
• Inspect vessels and ensure proper handling over to customers.
• Liaise and coordinate with other departments on project issues
• Update weekly progress and attend meeting

• NTC in any Engineering or technical fields
• At least 3 years working experience in a shipyard or on site works in construction or plant maintenance related
• Possess man management experience in supervising of workers
• Able to make decision, render judgment and take appropriate actions
• Able to work under pressure and respond to changes on short notice

• Transport provided at or nearby: Jalan Bahar, Pioneer MRT, Boon Lay MRT, Lakeside MRT, Jurong West & East, Jalan Bukit Merah, Choa Chu Kang MRT, Bukit Panjang Plaza, Woodlands, Sembawang MRT, Yishun MRT, Bishan MRT, Ang Mo Kio MRT, Hougang Ave 8, Sengkang Square, Punggol Central, Pasir Ris MRT, Tampines MRT, Tanah Merah MRT
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
