Our client is a global leading Food & Nutrition Organzation that is is looking for talents in this industry to join their growing business as Assistant, Supply Chain Manager SEA (dependant contributor). in this role, you will manage end to end supply chain including vendor management, procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics and distribution. Responsible for demand planning and supply chain management for flavor and food ingredients.
Hands-on experience in supply chain, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
Implement best practices and procedures. Establish and monitor key performance matrix on order fulfillment lead time, forecast accuracy, cost reduction, optimum inventory management, etc
Experience in S&OP process, forecast, demand and production planning
Experience in setting up and managing OEM manufacturing
Manage inbound, outbound, shipping activities, freight booking, etc.
Ability to coordinate with commercial and operation (internal team and external suppliers) to drive process and implementation
Experience in negotiating and managing OEMs, suppliers, 3PL warehouse and freight forwarders
Prepare freight table and provide freight quotation to commercial
Work with commercial team, customers and OEMs in customer qualification such as documents for import license application, audits, etc.
Familiar with import and export regulations for South East Asia customers
Ensure on time delivery, review export/import documents and ensure documents are in full compliance
Handles customer complaints related with the suppliers by working on corrective action, coordinating returns, credits, replacement, etc.
Work with Compliance, Regulatory, Legal and Finance team if needed
