Job Description

PURPOSE:The Assistant Planner is responsible for the daily operations for the EI Team. He or she must be able to work closely with the Planners and Opcos and provide timely support to daily Operations with minimal errors. This person must display good team work to achieve Stakeholders\' Satisfaction.RESPONSIBILITIES:Operations and Stakeholders\' Satisfaction

• Support Planners on daily routine operations like the issuance of Purchase order, Sales order, Diversion orders including Initial Buy and Last Buy as well as Hulk operations.
• To ensure Suppliers\' inquiries are communicated to Planners timely and take initiative to follow up with Planners if there are any missed out response.
• To support Planners to chase Invoices from Suppliers and follow up with a sense of urgency.
• To assist Planners with Invoices extraction to Opcos without any delay.
• Work with the Order Management and Logistic teams on stock allocation and logistic issues.
• To help Planners maintain items in the Planning system.
• To support any other ad hoc requests

Reporting

• Assist the manager in data consolidation, analysis, reporting and preparation of presentation materials.
• Assist Planners on preparation on weekly FOB report and SOH report.
• Support Finance Audit samples.
• To support other ad hoc reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
• Able to adapt to multi-cultural environment
• Customer oriented, independent and mature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attentive to details, with strong analytical, planning and organizing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and good in numbers crunching.
• Quick learner, pro-active and takes ownership of the job.
