Assistant Sustainability Manager

Job Description

We are currently working with a regional Real Estate Property Manager in looking for a strong Sustainability Management Professional as part of its expansion into other areas of the industry. If you are successful in this role, you will be working closely with a very experienced individuals that allow you to learn and grow with the team. You will also enjoy longer term career progression prospect with a potential to get exposure regionally as well as an attractive remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities
- To track and monitor sustainability targets, plan (eg. equipment life cycle plan) and implement initiatives (eg. chiller plant/AHU optimization/replacement) to meet or exceed the targets and enhance the sustainability standards
- Review existing operations, processes and systems as well as develop standard operations procedures to enhance sustainability performance
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather information and prepare reports and submission related to sustainability and propose initiatives to improve the reporting process
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders (eg. tenants) to improve the awareness on sustainability and enhance sustainability standards
- Keep abreast of industry sustainability developments, research on technologies/best practices/trends and solution/partner sourcing to further improve the sustainability plan and strategies
- Administrative task (eg. putting up Purchase Orders, processing of invoices, minutes taking)
- Any other duties as assigned by the superior

Key Requirements
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in provision of green consultancy services (eg. Green Mark) and project management (eg. chiller plant/AHU replacement)
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Real Estate, Environmental Science/Management or Sustainability or equivalent
- GMAP/GMAAP and BCA Energy Auditor
- EEOA/SCEM will be viewed favourably
- Strong knowledge on sustainability (eg. Green Mark standards, benchmarks, trends)
- Independent and strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, writing and planning skills
- Passionate about sustainability, positive mindset and self-driven with a desire for knowledge and learning with a can-do attitude
