Job Title: Assistant Technical Director Job Location: Fusionopolis Way, Singapore Job Type: 3 Years\xe2\x80\x99 Contract, could be extendable Key Skills: Experience in Technical Operations /High Performance Computing/Cloud Computing/Networking/ Systems/storage architecture

Our Client: Supports the HPC research needs of the public and private sectors, that includes research institutes,government agencies and companies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Technical Director in the following areas:

• Manage, oversee and coordinate the different technical functional roles in company to ensure that:

o routine operations run smoothly o services rendered are timely and in line with client\'s objectives o Resources are used optimally o procedural and governance guidelines/requirements are adhered to

• Work with the Business Development team to ensure that client is able to fulfil users\' requirements.

• Plan for and implement enhancements to client\'s offerings and operations, including system upgrades and expansion of service offerings

• Long term strategic planning for major upgrades or enhancements

• Advice client\xe2\x80\x99s CE on technical matters related to supercomputing or peripheral issues
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or a relevant scientific discipline. A post-graduate degree in computer science or a relevant scientific discipline is highly desirable.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar environment if the applicant has a relevant post-graduate qualification or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.

• Sound working knowledge of supercomputer operations and paradigms which may include, but are not limited to:

o Parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP, etc.) o Job scheduling o Systems/storage architecture o GPU for HPC/ML o Containers o Machine learning frameworks o HPC software build tools including compilers, mathematical libraries, etc.

• Competent in or familiar with periphery IT issues which may include, but are not limited to:

o cloud computing and other web technologies o networking o cyber-security
