Assistant Warehouse Manager (airfreight, Changi)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse day-to-day operations, resolving customer enquiries, manage staff performance.
- Meet all customers\xe2\x80\x99 performance expectation and KPI
- Ensure vendors are managed to ensure they keep high standards, address failures promptly, maintain service failure log
- Attend the monthly business review and drive issues to resolution
- Be well versed in warehouse best practices such as safety, security, dangerous goods handling, good distribution practices, medical device handling, record keeping, system updates or integration, continuous improvement, and process flow or value stream mapping
- Responsible in managing allocation of manpower, use of consumables, and vendor payments
- Provide guidance and insight to develop and improve data analytics to monitor and predict load for manpower allocation
- Implementation of corporate system transition
- Manage and control staff, address grievances, and measure performance KPI in collaboration with team leads for ground level staff
Requirements
- \xef\xbb\xbfDiploma in Logistics and above
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Complete knowledge of Airfreight Operations and Procedures
- Strong customer focus and operations management skills \xef\xbb\xbf
