Job Purpose:

• Why does this position exist?

• Manage and grow the debit card portfolio, and to drive continuous product innovation
• What is it expected to accomplish?

• Grow and entrench DBS position within cards payment space and overall cards' profitability.

Key Accountabilities:

• Plan and execute marketing plans to meet business objectives (drive card billings, market growth and overall cards' profitability)
• Design and implement new initiatives or enhancements to increase product efficiencies, promote engagement and improve customer experience
• Manage operational efficiencies in relation to system and customer issues

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns and experiments to grow card billings and market share
• Track and analyse portfolio performance and rewards to ensure alignment to business goals, and generate insights for new business opportunities
• Participate in squads and taskforces to identify new business opportunities or support system replatforms
• Reimagine existing processes to improve customer experience and increase customer engagement
• Manage administrative and operational issues including system enhancements and customer feedback
• Work with different business units and external partners to manage and implement key initiatives

Requirements:

• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyse data to generate meaningful insights
• Self-driven and resourceful
• Adaptable to changes and comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Sound knowledge of cards business is a plus
• At least 2 years prior experience in the role of product/portfolio manager in Banking industry
