The Role Responsibilities
  • Assist the HCO to effectively manage Country (and Rubik Cluster) business objectives and the governance role of the franchise
  • Serve as liaison with CMT/EXCO and other stakeholders to effectively manage priorities and facilitate outcomes.
  • Provide business planning, coordination, and project management support for the HCO therefore enabling focus on operational and strategic business issues.
  • Manage assigned initiatives on behalf of the HCO behalf.
  • Oversee or act as committee secretary for selected governance committees.
  • Ensure CEO Office preparedness for engagements and meetings
Business

Customer and Franchise Management - Support CEO Office in raising of the Bank's profile with all key stakeholders such as customers, regulators, key contacts in the local community, members of staff, and Group leadership. Assist the HCO in driving collaboration across Singapore and the network.
  • Support HCO in raising of the Bank's profile with all key stakeholders (customers, regulators, political contacts, staff, Group leadership) - relationship building with key contacts, develop meeting and networking agenda, coordinate follow up
  • Assist in special event coordination where CEO participates
  • Track Business Initiatives that the CEO sponsors, for example One Bank Forum, etc.
Processes

Provide daily support to the HCO in terms of internal and external correspondence, preparedness for engagements and timely deliverables. Assist in prioritization of CEO's schedule to ensure appropriate time allocation.
  • Monitor CEO Office's incoming correspondence to ensure prompt handling of all items. Manage follow up and execute actions as appropriate.
  • Manage CEO Office's daily emails to ensure timely and appropriate responses. Seek HCO's input where appropriate or delegate to others for resolution. Track important internal and external items to conclusion.
  • Review and priorities CEO Office activities for each day. Ensure an appropriate level of preparedness for each engagement and priorities his deliverables.
  • Independently seek resolution to everyday management issues requiring CEO Office's attention where possible.
  • Assist the Head of CEO Office in prioritizing CEO's schedule to ensure appropriate time allocation for focus on deliverables, stakeholder management and profile.
  • Assist HCO to utilize the CEO Office's Budget for appropriate expenses and track the Budget over the course of the year.
Manage and support agenda for high profile internal visitors to the country as required.
  • Manage agenda for high profile internal visitors to country (MT members, Independent Non-Executive Directors) - drive their engagement, schedule setting, briefings preparation, logistics, follow up on resulting action items. Ensure results of visits are communicated as appropriate (newsletters etc.).
  • Oversee project work on behalf of the HCO as appropriate e.g., strategic taskforces, etc.
  • Assist HCO to drive CMT/EXCO involvement in sustainability work (community engagement etc.).
  • Serve as Crisis Management administrator, and BCP coordinator for CEO's office.
  • Ensure look and feel of CEO's office space is functional and appropriate for proper representation and receiving high profile visitors.
People & Talent

Support the CEO Office in achieving the People and Talent objectives such as accelerating next generation of leaders, attracting talent, CMT/EXCO effectiveness and embedding the Code of Conduct.
  • Assist the HCO in developing and embedding a high-performance culture throughout the country by embracing management processes and activities with a goal of creating an environment of performance excellence.
  • Support the CEO Office in the objective of strengthening Diversity & Inclusion initiative
  • Work with CEO's Personal Assistant to manage workload and engagement, oversee adherence to company policies and general representation of CEO's office to stakeholders
Governance

Stay abreast of governance priorities and issues in the country, Rubik cluster and the Group. Be familiar with Group policies and processes directly affecting the CEO's office to ensure compliance. Support HCO to drive agenda for CMT/EXCO meetings and other strategy meetings. Track follow-up actions to completion.

Our Ideal Candidate
