Job Description


Role Responsibilities
Business

  • Conceptualise and implement marketing initiatives to drive the growth strategy for Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking in Singapore, while supporting selected markets in ASEAN and South Asia.
  • Plan and execute virtual and physical events ranging from private roundtables to large scale conferences, with the key objectives of building a positive brand profile and promoting the bank\'s capabilities.
  • Deliver localised sponsorship activation programmes for various client segments and tiers, leveraging on the market\'s sponsorship assets to elevate client experiences and achieve target outcomes.
  • Develop engaging content and marketing collaterals to highlight insights and emerging themes on trade, innovation and sustainability.
  • Support amplification of relevant content across a spectrum of digital, social media and traditional media channels, ensuring consistent messaging across all client touchpoints.
  • Proactively identify gaps and opportunities through regular competitive benchmarking.
  • Align and support Group\'s marketing initiatives, develop and localise client communication and marketing materials, in collaboration with local Corporate Affairs and Brand & Marketing teams in Singapore, ASEAN and South Asia.
Processes
  • Forecast, manage and ensure maximum leverage of the marketing budget, with measurements of success in place for enhanced marketing efficiency.
  • Ongoing tracking and monitoring of activity results to ensure returns on investment is measured and feedback is translated into future improvements.
Governance
  • Ensure compliance with Bank\'s marketing and event standards
  • Adhere to policies including escalation and compliance requirements and follow any other relevant internal controls and procedures as they relate to process, products, policies and regulations.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead/support the Brand & Marketing team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent events management experience, including use of virtual platforms for webinars and hybrid events.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into strategic marketing content, campaigns and/or events with a digital-led focus.
  • Good understanding of B2B marketing and media.
  • Ability to identify trends, analyse potential solutions and gain commitment to recommendations.
  • Strong project management and administrative skills. Able to work with matrix teams locally and regionally, manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with a creative eye and good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
